Best Diets For Weight Loss – How To Know What Works
So you’ve been searching for the ultimate diets for weight loss, but haven’t found one as yet. You may have even tried a few that have claimed that you could lose all the weight if you followed the program. But unfortunately you didn’t have much success with it because it was either too restricted, or too easy. That’s just the problem. See, most diets are extreme and either make you do too much of something, or not enough of something else. There’s just not enough “in-between” type diets. Diets that actually seem balanced, and focus on sound principles based on science and results from people that have used it for a long period of time. It’s time we start putting more of these type of diets out in the market, because they work.
However, just because a diet promises that you will lose weight, sometimes it’s not the diet. It’s us. We don’t give the diet enough time to actually see results, and follow through correctly. Even if we have the best diet plan in the world we may still not get what we’re after. And that can be a problem. Because what ends up happening is we start diet jumping, and the cycle never seems to stop. We think there must be something wrong with the diet, but really it’s our lack of commitment to sticking to one. If only we spent all our time and energy on that one diet, perhaps we would have seen results quicker than trying 3 new ones each week for the first month.
But let’s give them the benefit of the doubt. Let’s say someone has tried a diet, and followed it correctly – to the letter – and still didn’t see results. What then? Well, it must be the diet then right? Perhaps! There’s definitely a high likeliness that it’s the diet itself that just isn’t nourishing the body and promoting weight loss for optimal results. In that case we can either try another diet that looks good, but how can we be sure that it won’t just lead to the same outcome? How do we know the diet we’re on will actually work on and not fail us yet once again?
In this case, the best solution for choosing a sound diet plan is to listen to your body. See, too often we focus on this diet or that diet. But rarely do we have focus on what diet our body wants to follow. Maybe our body wants to follow a particular diet, but we’re just not giving it to it. Our body has demands, and everyone is unique. So if we give our bodies what it wants, then perhaps it will start listening, as strange as that sounds. But really, it’s not that strange if you think about it because our bodies are asking for nutrients all the time. The only problem is, when we’re craving something, we end up eating all the wrong things in the cupboard or fridge. Sure, it may be craving something sweet, but why jump to something processed? Why not giving it something nourishing instead of something empty and depleting? Perhaps this will do the trick.
So how does following a sound diet for weight loss, and listening to our bodies fit together? Well, in this case we’re combining the power our intellect with our intuitive capabilities. Now this seems powerful doesn’t it? So next time we try a diet, if we eat a certain food that the diet says we can have, but our body reacts negatively to it, then it probably means our body is rejecting it for a reason. Who cares if the diet says it’s good for you? If your body says it’s bad, then it probably is. If one person attains perfect health eating an apple, and another gets sick eating the same food, then why would we bother trying to copy someone else’s plan? Everything is relative. Sure there are some universal principles, but there’s no one diet fits all. It just doesn’t work that way. It could if you get lucky and the diet you’re on is a perfect match, but that usually isn’t the case. The diet is simply a guide, so if you follow it, it’ll give you some good structure, but it’s up to you to make it work for you. That’s the key.
So the answer to the question, what are the best diets for weight loss, is unique to each individual. If after trying several diets you are still feeling like it’s not working for you, then it’s time to start listening to the good ol’ stomach. The stomach never lies! It’s clever, but it’s also straight forward. If you don’t feel good after eating a particular meal, your body will probably store it, and won’t use it. After all, what good is it to the body if it can’t use it and thinks that particular food or drink is off? No use, no assimilation, means extra fat, again and again. If we start listening to our bodies enough, the right diets for weight loss will surely reveal themselves.
